Very nice meal. The papaya salad was very fresh and crisp. Same for the Thai spicy basil. I ordered the 5 spice level for both dishes but it was not spicy enough. Only a little basil with the entree.

We had been trying to eat at this restaurant many times but never managed to arrive on time. Finally, we made it — and it was worth every coin! We started with fresh rolls as an appetizer, and they were absolutely amazing. The vegetables were incredibly fresh and crunchy, and the sauce was delicious. For lunch, we ordered Pad Thai, and it was fantastic. The portion size is quite generous, so if you’re going with someone else, I recommend ordering different dishes to share and enjoy more of the delicious food they offer!

So good we came back twice in one week. Thai Basil is incredible. The food is consistently delicious—we had the Pad Thai (both chicken and tofu) and it was amazing. The fresh rolls were so good and super fresh. We also tried the Khao Moo Dang from their street food menu (crispy pork belly, roasted pork, egg, rice, and gravy) and it was a standout. We ate at the bar one day and a booth another—both times the service was excellent. It gets very busy in the evening, but the space still feels calm and easy to enjoy. Even when it’s full, the noise level stays low, which makes it easy to actually relax and have a conversation. Beautiful space, great food, and you can tell they really take pride in what they’re doing.

As one of your “Dashers”, I strongly recommend opening an east side location. You could have all of Madison and the surrounding area covered. I have been in the restaurant industry for many years, and in all positions, from being a dish washer at 14, to manager at 21, so I see what’s possible with your business. And as a customer, the food is “authentic”., and delicious. I lived in Thailand for many years, and this is a wonderful option for Madison and the surrounding areas to have! My only ”positive feedback” would be to add a little more to the ambiance for those who dine in. Talk to Kuhn Lek, and maybe he could send over some nice artificial orchids, palm trees, and the like from BKK? He could add his touch to the new location(s). I wish you continued growth and success, spreading love through delicious food! *****UPDATE******* The ambiance is great! You did a great job artistically decorating the restaurant! The new Thai/Madison painting is beautiful and creative. I have always loved Thai people’s natural ability for a variety of arts. I think the only “ complaint” is, now you need a bigger restaurant. Kuhn Lek would be proud. Chiyo ( cheers)

The food is excellent. Atmosphere inside is very welcoming and homie. I’ve came here multiple times now. Only “incident” that happened was the server misunderstood what I ordered. Easy fix. They were ready to swap out the dish, and my correct dish came out very quickly. The Thai import beer is a bonus. I’ll let pictures talk for themselves. Rice and noodles never over cooked. If you have a preference on how the food is made, you can always speak to the server, and they’ll work with you. I love this place. I came and I DEVOURED.
