I went today (6/8) around 1pm. I entered and was met with blank stares. A young woman behind the counter looked around and giggled awkwardly. Someone finally put gloves on very slowly to start my order. The silence and lack of acknowledgement was so strange I tried making small talk about when they close and asked if people really crave donuts at 7pm. When it came time to ring me up, an older gentlemen came to the register, opened the drawer and started counting cash, never once acknowledging that there was a customer trying to pay. Finally, the person with my bag of donuts asked the gentleman counting the cash in the drawer if she could use the other register to ring me up. He grunted, "yeah, sure," and the interaction was finished. The donuts are fine. But not good enough for this kind of service. I went into my car to see if my mineral sunscreen had left a white cast on dark skin, but no, I looked ok. So I was really perplexed by this service and awkwardness. Anyway, this is probably my sign to stop eating donuts anyway.

Honestly I read the reviews and thought I was in for a treat but any donut I've got at Meijer Kroger or Walmart was fresher and jtasted better. I bought a variety of six different assorted and every donut was dry crumbly and tasted several days old I was going by visit Madison's iconic eats so gave it a try all six donuts minus a bite from each one throwed into the trash. Also they had a very limited selection was blueberry Bean the only variety of cake donut

Stopped by Greenbush Bakery in Madison today and it definitely deserves its reputation 🍩☕ The donuts were fresh, soft, and full of flavor, and the atmosphere had that classic local bakery feeling that makes places like this special. No denying they have amazing donuts always taste delicious. I go there all the time but was disappointed my last time going because I found a long string of hair on my donuts I took a bite out of it and ohhh boy was I pissed. I returned the donuts the lay was nice about giving me a refund and also offered to give me new ones but I was ok on replacing them. They are to good to be allowing something like that’s to happen though I’d say just make sure ppl are wearing the hair nets and gloves for me I sadly won’t be going back.

We had Greenbush Bakery Doughnuts for dessert at our wedding and they were such a hit! 10/10 recommend. Amazing service, delicious & beautiful doughnuts! Such a fun treat that everyone raved about!
