I absolutely love this place! So many great choices and they make it all right in front of you. So you know it's fresh and can see all the ingredients - and it's fast! Great atmosphere with room to dine in and relax. I love the tacos, tamales, quesabirria and tortas. The queso dip is also great. Delicious agua fresca drinks and a warm, welcoming staff. See my photo of the torta cubana. It was huge and so loaded!

I grew up in a predominately Mexican area and have been searching for great Mexican food in Madison since moving here 4 years ago, and I have finally found it here in El Rancho!! Their tacos were AMAZING and my boyfriend got the meat plate which is great if you’re tryna get #gainz. I cannot wait to come back I’m so so so excited this made me fall in love with Madison a little more

The food here is exactly what we were hoping for. Authentic tacos and quesadillas that were amazingly delicious. The atmosphere is nice for a small, local restaurant. There's not a lot of seating, but it feels like getting food to go is the more popular option here. But it worked out nicely for us! Parking was difficult to figure out, so we ended up parking on a side street and walked to the location, which was fine with a crosswalk nearby. The service was fantastic, it really felt like an indoor street vendor, which added to the charm. I had the chicken quesadilla which exceeded my expectations to the point where I had to finish the whole thing instead of saving half for leftovers. No complaints there! My friend got the tacos with the corn tortillas and they really hit the spot for her, and she can be a picky eater. All in all, I would highly recommend this place for a quick and delicious Mexican style meal.
