Reviews from Google1.08 months agoOrdered the sesame chicken to go, it was dry and tasted old, and then I bit into an open metal staple. Safe to say I won’t be ordering from here again, they could have sent someone to the hospital.
4.0a year agoFor Asian-American fare, I was pleased. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken lunch. The breading wasn't overwhelming, the chicken ratio wasn't disappointing, and the sauce met expectations for consistency and flavor. It didn't blow my mind, but it was tasty. It included fried rice and vegetables. I was surprised an egg roll was added. I was too full to eat it, however. Food was plenty. I did not check on the quality of the ingredients or whether this restaurant uses MSG, artificial colors or flavors, emulsifiers, preservatives, GMOs, or anything else. I'm judging strictly from presentation, quantity, relative freshness, and flavor, and what you would expect for standard asian-american fare.
1.0a year agoEverything seems wonderful but a part of the menu just doesn't work anymore, which is a problem if you've already eaten something from the menu and it's always out. I ordered something simple, American Chinese food, the sasame chicken and a sour & sweet chicken, looks amazing but the chicken was tasting just so bad, no real flavor and the chicken was bad quality, bad at the point that in the first bite we didn’t wanted anymore. So we paid around $45 for both meals and throw it in the garbage.
4.02 years agoNice atmosphere, the servers were very friendly and attentive. The Pork Blood, Beef Stomach and Soybean Sprout Stew wasn’t for me personally, but still tasted very good, and the Ox Tongue with Tripe Chili Sauce was amazing. The only slight criticism I have is that the portion sizes are ludicrously huge. Seriously, if you’re thinking of eating here, bring some friends because a bowl of that stew could feed a family of 6.
5.02 years agoStopped by here for a quick bite. The service was really fast and we were greeted and seated almost immediately. The place has nothing special to it decor-wise. Wouldn't say it's a fancy place or anything. Most of the other patrons seemed to be college students. I was there with some old college friends and family. Great atmosphere to just catch up over food. The menu seemed to have more authentic Chinese food rather than focus on the Americanized things like Crab ragoons and orange chicken. They had bull frogs, duck, and other options. Very nice selection. And very fairly priced. I had the Mongolian beef. We also got country style pork and beef fried rice. All were generously portioned enough to share. The food tasted great and I will definitely be going back. Overall If you're looking for good Chinese food location, this is a great spot. Beware their food isn't exactly like the typical Chinese-American restaurant (but they do have those options too). Not a place that would impress a date on the first night. But definitely would be great to go with friends. Only down side was we never got water refills.
