DO NOT order online delivery from this restaurant! I placed a delivery order for a group lunch, from their own website, which they canceled at the last minute. They told me over the phone they didn't have delivery available and claimed they couldn't process a refund for my $166 order. I ended up to disputing the charge with my credit card company. A tremendous waste of my time, both finding a way to feed my group at the last minute and battling to get refunded for food I never received.

First night in Madison! this place reminds me a lot of the Mexican restaurants back home. The cemita and the horchata are on point. They also have some stuff I've never seen sold in the US before (I might just not be looking in the right places) like memelas. Food seems be more oriented towards Puebla which 🔥🔥🔥

I used to love A La Brasa and enjoy going there for nights out with my friends, however, today I have come to my senses that this place is rude. Our group of three was given one menu and seated at a table outside that was poorly wiped in front of our eyes (2 seconds) which was off putting. Now, I have never in my life waited an hour and a half to receive the complimentary appetizer (chips and salsa) after ordering them four times (they usually come once seated). Ridiculous. Everyone else who came and goed received them almost instantly, while he'd make sure to take their orders whilst paying no service to our table. We seriously questioned if we were real in this moment, because he had totally paid no attention to us after asking for chips and instead got other people their drinks/chips/checks and when asked, he would give two word short responses ("oh, yes", "yes, alright", "yes") and would leave and come back to serve other customers. I believe our group of three maintained patience and compassion for our server, as he was serving basically the whole outdoors, but he didn't check in on us until 30 minutes seated right out the door and completely discriminated my group from the other customers. Everyone else was treated with fair service, well, okay enough service to take orders and bring out food. However, we completely lost the illusion of this whole experience and wanted to leave before our COMPLIMENTARY appetizers came out. Got our food in two hours too (2 carne tacos, 2 chix tacos, mexican rice to go) When a couple tables who came after us had already packed up and left. I'm still processing how intentionally discriminated our group felt and I can never recommend this place to anyone from here on out. 0/10

Laid back atmosphere with everything you would expect of a Mexican restaurant. Free chips and salsa when you sit down. I go there on my lunch hour when I work at Overture Center and I'm able to relax and eat without worrying it will take too long. I haven't found anything I didn't like on the menu. I love chalupas and there's did not disappoint.
