Reviews from Google1.04 months agoI wish I could give this place zero stars. The girl at the counter (I believe her name was Carly) has a bad attitude.....she was rude, condescending and snotty. Go anywhere else. And the coffees she made were terrible. I don't need a lecture about how coffee and mocha are different, at 5am on a Sunday, when I asked for "the largest size they offered for coffee for a peppermint mocha" and then a scolding about sizes of their drinks when I misspoke about wanting an xl... ridiculous.
1.05 months agoI ordered an Americano online and it said it was ready around 12:26pm, I came in didn’t see my order asked one of the Barista and she told me it was still in progress, then I waited another half an hour still haven’t got it. Then I asked again another Barista he said he will make it now, and the Barista before said she already told me it was in progress? I mean I already trusted her so I kept on waiting. But another half an hour can’t give you enough time to just make an Americano? And what is wrong with me asking again how far they are from making my order? Why was she upset about that and said she already told me it was in progress with frustration?
3.07 months agoI was offered fentanyl by a homeless man and when I refused, they proceeded to projectile vomit all over me and my drink! When I asked to use the bathroom the manager told me I couldn't use the bathroom because it was for customers only! Outrageous!!!! The manager then told me they won't replace my vomit ridden drink so my Macha had corn chunks in it, but it was kind of good in a weird way! Thank you starbucks for such a unique and memorable experience!!
1.08 months agoStarbucks is… complicated. I’ve honestly tried giving it a chance over Moka, but it’s almost always closed whenever I actually want it, which makes it hard to rely on. When it is open, it often feels more like a shelter for homeless people than a coffee shop. They use the bathrooms, and the space can get messy, with smells that carry through the building, which makes it feel less hygienic than you’d expect. On top of that, drinks from the pickup section are frequently taken, adding to the chaos. And somehow, whenever I walk past, the store always seems to be mid-protest, which makes it feel even more unpredictable. Overall, Starbucks has potential, but between closures, the environment, and hygiene issues, I find it hard to recommend over alternatives like Moka.- from sad Erik
1.09 months agoI had a very upsetting experience at this Starbucks. I ordered two drinks, but after waiting for a long time, a staff her name is Carly, #2309 insisted that I had only paid for one. I had actually been charged twice. Instead of checking calmly, she tried to take the drink out of my hand and spoke to me with a very rude attitude. Even after confirming that I did pay for both drinks, she did not apologize. When I asked why she accused me of not paying, her attitude became even more unfriendly. I requested to speak with the manager, and she told me she was the manager — which was shocking, considering how unprofessional she was. I have lived in this city and on this street for 17 years, and I have never experienced anything like this. It was truly shocking. If someone cannot control their emotions while on the job, they should not be working on the front line. Customers are not obligated to understand an employee’s past, stress, or personal issues. We only expect basic respect and professionalism. This experience made me feel extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. I honestly felt I was being singled out. No customer should ever be treated this way. There are more than four employees who have been working here consistently at this store. On the other hand, the two female employees who have been here consistently, at least throughout this year, are always excellent, even during very busy hours. The girl who working at the front cashier is always polite — and that is the difference. The negative impact from Carly would simply be too great. I hope the district manager looks into this. This level of behavior from a manager is unacceptable and far from the standard I expect from Starbucks.
