Visited SGD Dubu So Gong Dong Tofu & Korean BBQ while in Wisconsin. The atmosphere was chill and relaxed, making it a comfortable spot for a casual meal. The food offered decent quality at a good value, which is always a winning combination. Service was good when present, although there were moments when we could have used a little more attention. Overall, a solid Korean BBQ spot with good value, decent food, and a laid-back vibe. Saluti.

Great Korean restaurant in State Street. The food delivered in both taste and portion, definitely worth the price! Service was also great. The Soondubu jjigae was delicious and filling, perfect for the winter time or during a cold/windy day. The Pork Belly Kimchi was amazing, but it is quite a big portion so I would recommend sharing the dish, or be prepared to take home the leftovers.

Seafood broth tastes good. Bulgogi in the beef bento box was a bit too sweet. According to my friend, the egg soup that came on the side was very eggy and he liked it. I haven't tried it though. I also liked the banchan kimchi.

In the middle of summer, the AC wasn't working, so I was sweating while eating hot food. The owner has made so much money from having many locations that he's become arrogant. The soft tofu stew didn't even come with hot stone pot rice; it just came with regular rice.

We had heard so much about how popular this place is, so we made sure to arrive right when they opened to avoid the crowds. The service was incredibly fast, and our food came out in no time! Every dish we tried was delicious, but the Beef and Sausage 순두부찌개 (Soondubu Jjigae) was absolutely outstanding—it tasted so authentic and flavorful. Without a doubt, this is the best Korean food in Madison! On top of the amazing food, the service was also fantastic. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!
