My husband and I come here often to watch football ⚽️ Good vibes. You can bring your kids here. The staff are very gracious. I have never seen them with a bad attitude no matter the crowd. Thank you. The food is simply only ok, but good portions, and “affordable” for a downtown location. Great beer selection. I am in love with the interior. Ample seating. Booths, patio, long dining tables, four seaters, etc. Beautiful windows. Painted ceilings. Polka albums decorating the bathroom lol. The sound is awesome when a game is going well, with the curved ceilings and everyone chanting. Not sure if they do live music, but they should. It’s usually not crowded. Bathrooms clean every time I have visited. Upstairs and downstairs. They pump the audio from games, so you don’t miss anything. I would say not wheelchair/stroller accessible at the moment. The bathroom on the main floor is often not working. There are steps leading up to the entrance (although it is a wide doorway) and currently there is sidewalk construction on the street that makes things difficult even for a pedestrian. The patio is available - but gated (wheelchair), and no tv outside (if you care about the games) and only some of the tables have umbrellas. It would be a nice spot if you smoke lol. TLDR Not a woweeeee place, but it has lots of charm. The service is good, and the space itself can accommodate many different sized groups. The menu is varied enough. The location is great for downtown.

Great place, cool atmosphere! Half a pretzel is really large, really good. Butternut squash soup delicious, yum 😋

If you love the city of Munich and the German culture, you’re gonna love this restaurant! I was really craving a “Hefeweizen,” which is a traditional, unfiltered Bavarian wheat beer. I ordered that along with the giant pretzel which was absolutely enormous and took up nearly our entire table. I was also really craving the chicken schnitzel so the three paired incredibly well and hit the spot!

The atmosphere and food was amazing…and authentic! Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would come back for just the atmosphere, just the food, or just the beer; all three together was an absolute treat. We have family in Germany and were very happy to find foods and drinks we can’t normally get our hands on.

Stopped here tonight for a little food and a few German beers. This was not my first visit, but my buddy was here for his first visit. Great service by Adam at the bar! Prost! Food was amazing and of course the beer was top notch. The setting in the old church was a great Gemütlichkeit feel. Parking with the street work was a bit of a challenge. Plan for it.
