2.02 months agoGet rid of the silly AI camera at the self checkouts. What should have been a quick checkout of a handful of items ended up taking 5 minutes and required employees to assist three different times because the AI camera thought I was fake scanning something and trying to steal. I also walked in and grabbed a basket but after realizing I actually needed a cart there was no easy way to just grab a cart because I wasn’t able to pass through the exit gate. So I had to go all the way around, through the checkouts, out the doors to the outside, and then back in to just grab a cart.
4.03 months agoExpensive but I like the items they have here, very unique, which may explain the pricing. Staff are kind and helpful and the store is very well organized and easy to navigate. Worth checking out.
1.03 months agoIt's convenient for extremely quick shopping trips or if you just need to stop in for a few items. It is expensive and items are sometimes double than what you would find elsewhere. Not alot of variety. Their bakery is awful. Bland, dry and commercially made. There is nothing made from scratch here. Food is not rotated. I have found packages of bacon that are rotten and brown. Rotton fruit and veggies. Food to go sits under that heat lamp for hours. Prepackaged deli items go bad in days. When asking a customer service rep what isle anything is in or if they even carry the item, there is an abundance of I don't knows and shrugging of shoulders. No, I can not recommend this place.
1.04 months agoIsthmus grocery monopoly preying on poor urban yuppies who don't know any better. Easily 2-3x marked up goods. Don't get me wrong, the convenience is great. I understand the property taxes must be insane on this place but holy heck avoid as much as you can. They have a solid selection, and and bakery is cool. The hot bar is mediocre at best, I have gotten sick from the food there on several occasions.
5.04 months agoEvery time I come here and interact with the staff, they are super kind and professional. A special thank you to Onyx and the other awesome bakery staff for a tight turnaround on a custom cake order. Highly recommend this as a place to shop :)
