I don't know how it took me this long to finally try this place. Everyone says it's a Madison staple for a reason. It's delicious, the prices are beyond reasonable for the amount of food you get, and the people there are great! Super nice! They loaded us UP and I am GRATEFUL. Definitely stop in if you get the chance.

I really had no idea what to expect coming here, but was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is very hole in the wall bar, but the food is pretty good with outstanding service. You order at the counter and find a seat in the bar area around a bend in the hallway. It's cozy, not too loud, and had plenty of seats in the noon hour. I had the potato pelmeni and my wife had the beef. We both enjoyed it! The sweet and spicy sauce with the curry topping was really great, and it did the trick to fill me up. I would recommend giving this place a try, at the very least. It's a very limited menu, but they do it well if that's what you're in the mood for.

Delicious original cuisine. This is quick casual and delicious in the cheap eats category. Great staff, quick service, easy to understand menu. Wonderful experience all around.

Sad because this used to be one of my go2’s tell my last order.. not too sure how staff got confused on the whole works on both orders but definitely had NOTHING on both orders of dumplings than it’s not even a full order of beef it’s potato! I mean what did I pay extra for? Plain dumplings i guess and no cookie or bread that we also paid for.

I ordered a 5 pack of frozen beef with the works last night. I ordered around 10pm before the college kids. I received a pack of basically 3-4 potato ones and no sour cream or cilantro. I don't mind if they could tell me if they were out of cilantro/sour cream if that's what happened, but I paid $37 dollars for my order and was left extremely upset. I cooked the potato ones for my vegetarian roommate, but I just want my money back or comp.
