What an amazing time! Came in with a big group from a meeting at the Fluno center. The vibes were great and the karaoke system had tons of options. Both bartenders were awesome but Kasey definitely stood out, what a colorful and fun human being! The drinks were tasty and the karaoke seemed to have a good flow to allow everyone a fair chance to sing. We did have a few people get turned away for backpacks but it was clearly posted in the front entryway and Kasey was very polite about it and it wasn't much of an issue, they just dropped them off to their vehicles or hotel rooms and came back. Would recommend to anyone who likes to let loose and sing their hearts out, 10/10 would visit again next time in I'm Madison.

Although the vibes were immaculate, as someone who isn't a local, it was frustrating for the female bartender to constantly be taking tips for others to get their name bumped up for karaoke. She let the same 5-6 people sing for about an hour. This was on May 1st. There was a male and female bartender. Female bartender only seemed to give attention to the people who would tip her. The male bartender would check on me here and there, where I ended up purchasing a shirt. I had let them know it wasn't cool to have people waiting over an hour to sing when I came there from states away to have fun. Please put a note somewhere that you need to tip to bump your songs because where I am from, Fargo ND, they NEVER accept tips to bump people up in karaoke. first come first serve. I don't even want to come back

Had such a great time celebrating my birthday with all my closest friends! The drinks were yummy and the staff was so amazing! Especially a very friendly/charismatic bartender named Casey who made us laugh and feel so comfortable! Would definitely suggest checking it out!

Mom’s bar is the de facto karaoke bar of Madison! It’s a small place that offers a cozy atmosphere and an awesome karaoke catalog (Karafun) — they’ll have pretty much any song you could think of singing. Be aware that if you want to be able to sing on weekends, you’ll probably need to pay to move up in the queue or arrive early. The drinks served are standard for a college bar, nothing fancy.
