I was charged a whole DOLLAR to add pickles even when I took off the lettuce, tomato’s, and sprouts. Then they had the audacity to only give me three pickles. The worker told me that “pickles were a premium topping” and couldn’t be substituted for the lettuce, tomato’s, or sprouts, which is wild because they’re literally pickles, not some luxury upgrade. It’s finals week, Milio’s, and this is how you treat the students on campus. This is a new low. P.S. terrible sandwich, btw.

They really put 4 tough butt end tomato slices on 1 sandwich. Milio's is usually fine but I wouldn't return to this one.

The East Campus Mall location has gone significantly downhill over the past few months. I really appreciated the previous manager, who was always friendly, remembered regular customers, and consistently ensured high-quality sandwiches. Recently, it seems there may be new management, and the food quality has noticeably declined. On multiple occasions, I’ve ordered sandwiches with Italian dressing, but they’ve been overly soaked with a strong vinegar taste, which takes away from the overall experience. Additionally, staff members are often wearing at least one AirPod, if not both, which comes across as unprofessional and inattentive. As someone who has worked in restaurant management, it’s disappointing to see such a noticeable decline in both service and quality. I hope this location can return to the standards it once had.

The subs here are good quality with a nice selection of meats and toppings. I'd say the quality is above Jimmy John's and Cousins (better bread, fresh meats, great ratio of filling to bread), but below Jersey Mike's (the meat isn't grilled and the bread selection isn't quite as good), and it's priced accordingly. This location is supremely fast, and the sub is almost always done before I finish filling my drink. The physical location is also prime, as it's located across the street from the university's two largest dorms and below many of the university's offices of employment. The restaurant has bar seating with a nice view of East Campus Mall. A great spot for a quick lunch or dinner.
