Reviews from Google2.04 months agoI ordered Szechuan Chicken, which is a well known and classic entree with a spicy sauce. My order looked like dry kibbles, no sauce, and almost no chicken meat inside all of the breading. See photos of what was advertised vs what I received. Not pleased at all. On top of it, we called and a staff member tried to gaslight me into believing thats how the entree is served...
5.05 months agoEveryone was so nice and even though I had no idea what I was doing I had a great time! Food was delicious and service was 10/10! I’ll definitely be back!
5.09 months agoWhen we walked in, it felt clean and cozy. However, when we ordered. It took a really long time for the food to get here. They gave us the wrong food but fixed it right away. I loved the tomato hotpot, it was delicious and the servings were very generous. The spicy hotpot was also really good. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and would recommend coming here for a delicious hearty meal.
5.0a year agoPossibly the most authentic Chinese food in all of Madison. The restaurant is Northeastern Chinese style, so thankfully (for me) the spice is not too spicy! Prices are great, and the flavor of each dish tastes so well composed. The food tastes like my own mother cooked it. Service is fantastic as well. Definitely please check out this locally owned restaurant! Pictured below are Mapo Tofu, Sichuan Styled Chicken, and the Sour Cabbage and Lamb Pot.
5.0a year agoPleasant first impression. The food was freshly cooked, generous portions and friendly service. I tried order from the menu so can’t comment on the hot pot experience itself. Recommend for near downtown lunch or dinner when everything else is closed. I had better hot and sour soup so was not too impressed with this one but it was ok. Parking can be challenging.
