Avocado toast was supposed to come with everything bagel seasoning, and it only had poppy seeds. The potatoes were good (not great) and the best part about our meal. Tried the Golden Hour latte, it was fine. The atmosphere in there felt clinical with a lot of empty white walls that reminds me of a chain fast food restaurant. I’m not crazy about a place that makes you bus your own dishes but still asks for a tip. Food was served on trays with parchment paper that rips very easily. I’m not sure how clean the metal trays are and it just felt gross, why couldn’t they give us a plate? Place feels like its torn between being a quick bites Acai bar (a trend from 10 years ago?) or a brunch cafe, but it cannot choose.

I stopped in for lunch while visiting Madison and was really impressed! My chicken Caesar wrap was fresh and flavorful, and the side of potatoes was perfectly seasoned and so tasty. I also tried an açaí bowl, which was delicious—the fruit on top was incredibly fresh. The whole menu feels like healthy comfort food you’d want to enjoy regularly, and I only wish I lived closer so I could come here more often. The breakfast options looked fantastic, though I didn’t get a chance to try them this time. Service was warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

Best açaí bowl I’ve ever had! We absolutely love all the healthy options here- especially the Snicker Power bowl and the breakfast burritos. Everything tastes fresh and flavorful . If you haven’t been yet, this is your sign to treat yourself to the best açaí in town!

Fiirst time at Comfort Fuel in Madison and we're hooked! The simple sando was a winner - sausage, bacon, and eggs on a Hawaiian bun was a perfect combo. The breakfast potatoes were excellent, crispy and flavorful. And the Bali Crunch açaí bowl was AMAZING! Can't wait to come back and try more of their menu. Great spot for breakfast or brunch!

Awesome menu with so much variety and very cool juxtaposition of flavors. None of the food feels heavy; it’s delicious and filling, but light. I had the electric Ave açaí bowl which was full of surprising (in a great way) flavors and the French toast grilled cheese, which was perfectly balanced and delicious without being greasy. Looking forward to coming back and trying the entire menu- everything looks awesome!
