I’ll admit that I’m not generally someone who seeks out tacos, probably because I’m vegetarian and the bulk of excellent tacos are very meat forward. That being said - Bandit is hands down my favorite place to get a delicious vegetarian taco. Their vegetarian tacos are full of flavor. I have a hard time picking a favorite - the potato taco was probably my favorite (not pictured) closely followed by the kimchi cauliflower for uniqueness, but their oyster mushroom is a very very close third. Their ingredients are fresh and their tortillas are from a local tortilleria, which shows. Their chips are thick and crispy, and their guac and salsas are so flavorful. I’ve come here many times and I’ll continue to come back!

This place does not miss when it comes to food. The staff was extremely friendly. It’s got a really cool vibe. Looks like they have an excellent happy hour. I got just ice green tea. This place does not miss when it comes to food. It was freshly brewed. I’ll definitely be back to try the tacos.UPDATE I came back for the tacos achiote chicken was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The creamy guacamole and tangy pickled onions added the perfect balance of richness and brightness, making every bite fresh and delicious.”

Best tacos I’ve had in Madison, from the flavors and variety and freshly cooked food to the kind and helpful staff and fun, cozy interior. Easy to park and enjoy delicious tacos. I love the oyster mushroom tacos and the guacamole with freshly made chips. The salsas are also wonderful! I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for delicious food and a great place to catch up with friends and family when you’re back in town.

Honestly a disappointing experience overall. The food was subpar and pretty much cold when it came out. I went in expecting a lot better, maybe that is what skewed my rating. But I would personally not recommend going here.

Came here for some lunch on a Sunday and there was plenty of tables, and no wait for an order. Took around 10-15 minutes for my food and drink to come which is great and the patio is great on a sunny day! Parking is a little tight so it can be good to park elsewhere and walk in. The entrance is on the right side of the building and it’s further down than you’d think. If you think you’ve walked past it, you probably haven’t.
