Drove 4 hours to be told that the children working the counter do not know how to pack a pint of ice cream by hand. Even though most of the flavors were not available prepacked. What a disappointment! It is not that hard a task. We would have purchased at 5 or 6 flavors to go. I don't think we will return.

Very good ice cream. Stopped after 4:30 PM which allowed us to park for free out front which was nice. It probably also helped that it’s summer and not as much traffic on campus. Try the orange custard with chocolate chips. It’s a nice balance where both flavors complement the other without overpowering.

This ice cream is the best of the best. And a lovely view outside on the sitting area to enjoy the ice cream and the view of the lake. You won’t want to leave Madison without getting some ice cream here

Omg seriously seriously seriously. You cannot go to Madison and not go to Babcock Dairy Store on campus! What are you waiting for? Go already! The flavors are so so awesome you will love it. It's the best custard ever it's the highest quality custard ever. And you can even go upstairs and see how they're making it during the week when they're making it. Everybody who works there is so pleasant and fun the custard is out of this world the flavors are crazy wonderful GO!!!🍦

The sandwiches are very delicious. I loved the Bucky’s Veg Out. I tried the Blueberry Swirl ice cream, no lie, it’s the best ice cream I’ve ever had. It’s so rich and creamy and the blueberry flavor tasted so fresh and strong. Better than Chocolate Shoppe! Service was helpful and great, food was excellent, and the whole experience was fantastic. So cool that the cows live right here on campus and dairy products are made right here on campus! Highly recommend!
