Tornado Steak House absolutely lived up to its reputation. We started with the wedge salad, which was fresh, crisp, and a great way to begin the meal. The star of the evening was the 20 oz bone-in tenderloin—perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of rich flavor. Every bite was worth it. The service was attentive, and the classic steakhouse atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience. If you’re looking for an outstanding steak in Madison, this is the place. We can’t wait to return!

We had a Very excellent experience here!! First time here and it did not disappoint. Reservations ( several days in advance) is highly recommended. Very cool vintage supper club feel. Drinks were very good. Food was unbelievable. First course spinach salad with bacon vinaigrette dressing was incredible. The mushroom sauce with my filet was completely next level. My girlfriend had the pork tenderloin with the cherry finish and that was equally as good. Good portion sizes as well. You will not leave hungry. I simply dont have enough good things to say. Its definitely a MUST try!

The tornado steakhouse is AMAZING! 10/10 service everytime I have been here. Most recently I came in without a reservation (on a Saturday night- oops :/) So I had my first experience with having a full dinner at the bar. It was such a delightful experience. Emily and Tony took such good care of me, and Emily makes probably the best old fashion I have ever had. Of course the food was perfect and the steak was absolutely wonderful but I also really enjoyed the different experience of a bar seat (also 2 min wait on a Sat and I was seated!!!). I highly recommend Tornado, totally worth the expense for the quality and quanity of food.

Came here for the first time on a Friday night in June. Brent and JD made our experience so memorable. The food exceeded expectations. This was recommended to us by a friend who’s been coming here with his family for 20 years - he is a chef. Love the low lighting vibe. The bar area looked really cool with a bunch of two seat booths and of course bar seating. We cannot wait to come back. Worth every penny. Thank you!!

The best steak I've ever had. I'm usually not a medium rare person but it was recommended so I went with it. The fillet au poivre is delicious. Buttery soft texture, warm even at medium rare, a high quality pepper that has a very good bite to it, and the Sherry mushroom cream sauce is i indulgent and delicious. The hash brown is ok but the rest of the meal is so indulgent it won't matter. The sides salad is a large portion. I highly recommend the spinach salad with the hot bacon dressing. The cocktails are strong boozy and the bartenders, Ben and Denis, are a delight, listen to their recommendations. Highly recommend if you're ever in Madison.
