Reviews from Google5.0a month agoThey deserve all the stars. Great food, freshly made
4.03 months agoThe atmosphere and service was great. Maybe I was unlucky, but my banh mi bread was somewhat stale. It was harder to bite through than the pork. Which was unfortunate because the fillings of the sandwich tasted wonderful. I just expected a little more from a $20 sandwich. Stale bread not toasted. Felt like something was missing. Great place though I will likely be back to try something else without bread.
3.04 months agoCute little cafe. The young lady with bandana who works at the counter is rude, though. My girlfriend got their Chai and it was really watered down and flavorless and she didn’t tell me until she had a few sips. I Brought it to counter and asked for it a bit more sweet and she said “well that’s just how we make it”. Then remade BUT didn’t fill all the way…just to the exact level to where my girlfriend had already drank it. The pastries were pretty good! So was my coffee. Recommend the Keiche, just not the Chai or the service.
3.06 months agoThis place is very hit or miss. The soups are fine but not worth the cost--I bought a frozen pinto bean soup that did not contain one single bean, imagine that. The staff is a bit pretentious but that is to be expected in Madison. One bright spot is the chicken pot pie, which may be the best pot pie I have ever tasted.
5.07 months agoGreat spot to stop for a quick bakery/drink, sit and grab lunch, or work for a while. It’s on the pricier side, but you pay for quality and the use of local ingredients. I do wish they were open on Sunday!
