This place should win an award for turning the best bar in Madison to the absolute worst. Painted the bricks white and replaced all the cute Irish pub decor with disgusting, soulless AI art. Bouncers seem to get aroused by turning people away. Like I'm saying genuinely I have experienced them requesting I pay extra in order to be let in MULTIPLE TIMES. Coincidently only one of my friends to be questioned while also being the only one who looked alternative or visibly queer. Turned a safe space with a homey, casual vibe to an absolutely rancid atmosphere that is only friendly towards the Greek life crowd. Also FAC fell off... used to be awesome at Danny's. Now extra $3 for a buffet that is never stocked and tastes terrible. Seems their model is to understaff so you have to push through a mosh pit to get a drink. Deserve to get their liquor license taken away for many reasons, worst offense of all being a soulless attempt to living up to Danny's legacy. You guys are the worst. Edit: nothing more to say except AI art= broke broke broke. Tell me you don't have enough money to pay good artists (emphasis on the good... that god awful butterfly mural doesn't count) without TELLING me

Great bar! Clean, nice set up, friendly staff and great drink options. The bartenders were nice and the food service was fast. Not a lot to say about the food, it’s bar food. Friend fries were hot and had a nice seasoning.

This place has only been open for about 4 months as of Feb 2025. My hubby and I went here on a Wed before a show, and there were like 4 people in the bar. I was able to talk to the owners, who were fantastic. They have a dedicated gf fryer, and almost everything on the menu is or can be gf. Slower than expected food service, but the owner told us they were training new staff and had to remake my meal. The next time we were here was a Friday night, and there were a million college kids present. They still nailed the food, even if the bartenders were slower, possibly because they were busy doing shots with customers, lol. The tater tots are worth visiting (and are a huge portion) and even the hamburger buns tasted great (much better than the usual Udi fall apart versions). I would totally recommend this place.

Great food! Lively atmosphere! Owner tells us that only gluten free ingredients go into their fryer! They also use GF pasta. I had their Friday fish fry. Two nice sized pieces of fish (I think cod). The fish was really great, not greasy, just nice and crispy. I also had tots. Generous portions. You could have chips or fries as well. Love me some tots! They also had GF beer on tap and in cans from Alt brew. My husband is not GF. He had a burger and he really enjoyed that as well. It is definitely a college campus atmosphere, but clean and fun. We will be back!

Can't recommend enough if you're looking for locally owned American eats and/or a few drinks! The service was great and super friendly, the bar was very nice. The natural lighting was beautiful and the place felt a lot bigger than it should, they even have stages for live music and said they plan to have local bands. They were nice enough to show me a large beautiful upstairs area that's available to rent out with a stage and DJ booth. I had the morning burger, and it was fantastic. A good portion for the price and it came out quickly. This place is great if you're gluten-free as well! Almost everything on the menu is available gluten-free.
