Reviews from Google5.02 months agoCame here for boba and realized they had full bakery setup with Asian pastries and cakes. Tried the entrees and were blown away with the quality— char siuw and shao rou clearly made from scratch, seasoned perfectly, really good portions. Not speaking about price, this place is delivering high quality already. The price could be higher and it would still be worth it. Only slight nitpick would be that the milk tea was a bit too sweet.
5.02 months agoLittle Sweet has been one of my favorite cafés during my last year at UW–Madison. Compared to other places, it stays open later and usually has more seating, with a kind of unpredictability I’ve come to love. Sometimes it’s busy, sometimes it’s not. That’s what made it feel like my niche café. At this point, I’ve tried a lot on their menu. I’ve had a cake, a few pastries, milk teas, and fruit teas. My favorite fruit tea is the passion fruit with passion fruit popping pearls. My favorite pastry is the taro pulled pork bun. It’s my ultimate favorite thing there. I also tried the mango passion fruit cake, which was really good. It’s not too sweet. Honestly, a more fitting way to describe it is that it’s a little sweet. As for other baked goods, I’ve tried a few. The hot dog pastry is good and super filling. It’s definitely a great cheap lunch option. The BBQ pork one wasn’t my favorite. I didn’t realize the texture would be ground pork. If I were to change anything I would ask that Little Sweet gets a toaster oven for their baked goods rather than microwaving them. They're nice heated but have that microwaved texture. I’ve also tried their milk tea pots and regular tea pots, which are really fun and great if you’re studying. Since I’m a bit sensitive to milk, the last teapot I got was green tea. They have two green tea options, and it’s worth asking which one you’re getting because one is definitely more floral than the other. I will say, the milk teas don’t sit well with me. Even just one lavender milk tea makes me gassy. Honestly, any milk-based drink from here does, so lately I’ve been sticking to fruit teas instead. The passion fruit tea is still my go-to, but I’ve also had the super fruit tea and the sour candy fruit tea, which I’d say is a close second because it’s pretty similar in taste. For milk teas, I’ve tried lavender, rose, brown sugar, coffee, and oolong. The coffee milk tea was actually the one I liked the least, which surprised me. I’ve also had t

5.04 months agoAbsolutely gorgeous and clean seating area, amazing study spot. The staff is so friendly and cute, and they work super hard to keep the place nice. 🎀🩷 I love their boba, especially their brown sugar, milk tea with cheese foam. I highly recommend you try the blueberry cake slice. One of the best and most refreshing desserts in madison.🔥💯 I do not recommend any other chocolate cakes though. They don't actually taste like chocolate. It's more of a appearance. It might just not be traditional chocolate cake.
5.08 months agoThe food here is delicious, and the dessert is also suitable for the taste of our group of people. The most important thing is that the boss's service attitude is very good. The food I ordered was mixed up because they forgot to make it for me, and then they gave us a small cake. It was so nice.
