Restaurant week did not disappoint at Heritage Tavern. The GF sweet corn chowder was such an amazing treat! Our server. Emma, was both delightful and knowledgeable. Service was well paced for a busy night. Thanks to the Chef for making more delicious GF options!!

My wife and i split the T-Bone for 2. It was amazing! I highly recommend it. We got the deviled egg 1/2 platter. It was different but also good. The food was very fresh and we will be back again

This place is amazing, I sat at the bar and watch them make the dishes before they brought them out to the people (the kitchen is open so you can see everything, as well as the table were they do the final touches to the food they bring out). Chris was my bartender and he was great, the food and drinks I had were amazing. One really cool thing about this place is that they use as much local in season produce as possible and they even had plants growing there on the counter that they will use in their dishes (see my pictures). I don't live in Madison but I sure wish we had a place like this where I live.

Sat outside after the farmers market and had a really nice brunch. Saffron was our server and she was very helpful. Omelette with ham and cheese was delicious and candidly doesn’t even need the hollandaise sauce. Ham sandwich was great also. Only nit is $4 each for fountain pop. Maybe one free refill at that price?

What a wonderful restaurant! From the start, we were impressed by the service of our delightful server Lily and delicious food. My family and I enjoyed the deviled eggs and charcuterie, as well as the steak/short rib and bouillabaisse. My husband has eaten bouillabaisse and cioppino all over the world, and he said this was one of the best. It was my birthday, so Lily offered us a complementary glass of bubbles to get us started after a long day touring UW Madison with our son. Lily was a joy and made the day special. We will return when we’re back in Madison. 😊
