Twice we traveled over two hours to see music and eat at the Harmony; definitely worth it! Great burgers. Concert side people are courteous to make it a listening room.

I was there to see a band last Sunday. I think if we were outside, the band would have sounded good. But the band turned the volume up excessively high. It really distorted the sound. Instead of sounding like music, it sounded like noise. I saw a couple people cover their ears. People had to shout to be heard. The acoustics in the bar just can’t support that volume level. It’s such a small space. And the crowd was not one of twenty year olds, but mostly 60s and up. Think. Use common sense.

The Harmony Bar is a FASCINATING place. On its face, it's a bar with pub food, reasonably priced for the genre, and nicely situated in the Atwood neighborhood. However, scratch the surface and you find an interesting little community. There's artists that routinely play there. The atmosphere is strangely kid friendly. There's a spacious outdoor seating area. The menu is strangely deep, with vegetarian options, including the "walnut burger" which is sort of their claim to fame. Together, it makes this place a really low key community bar that is anything but "dive". There's more depth here even than I have time to describe. What's important is that it's worth checking out.

Loved it! Very traditional establishment, nothing too fancy, good food and good prices. We tried their walnut burger, since I had never heard of that before. It was outstanding! I’d definitely come back for another one. Highly recommended!

Excellent food. Good drinks and beer selection. Friendly staff and customers. Also the patio is second to none: quiet, and lots of plants. It's like the backyard you always wanted. Had the Thursday pizza special and a salad. The walnut burger, and the beef burger are also winners. Get them with fried onions. Buonissimo!
