Visited for brunch to meet my daughter. Unfortunately, since it's right downtown, there was no nearby parking for either of us. Had to take a few trips around before we found a spot a few blocks away. Very nice restaurant and patio seating! The staff was welcoming and our waiter, Jonathan, was kind and on time with our beverage and meal orders and checking in. The loaded Bloody Mary is a meal in itself! Ask for cocktail napkins! I didnt and should have, I guess. I have a huge adversity to leaving wet rings or rinds on tables, lol! So good, though! Bacon is fabulous. Our app and meals arrived timely and were perfect. Hubs enjoyed his burger and my daughter and I liked the pairing of Eggs Benedict w the side salad...the dijon vinaigrette was spot on. Definitely a nice place to check out, will have to try the dinner menu next time.

Oh Graze… I have a love hate-relationship with this restaurant—I used to love it, and now I hate it. I came here first as a Freshman and my final visit was 4 years later for their fixed price graduation dinner. How poetic. I loved Graze 4 years ago and raved about it to anyone who would listen about how they had the best cheese curds in Madison. However, when we came here for the graduation dinner I was actually sorely disappointed. I’m not quite sure what happened but everything we got was just okay (about what you’d expect from the Nitty Gritty) and definitely not up to par with the awards this restaurant has won or the fixed-price of our meal. Would not recommend coming here. We had a much better fixed-price meal that was actually cheaper, at Heritage Tavern. P.S. I only took pictures of the milk and cookies we got for desert (who puts milk & cookies on an $85 fixed menu??)

I stopped in for dinner by myself and was pleasantly surprised by how accommodating the staff was, even without a reservation. While the patio was full, they found me a small table by the window. The Verdant cocktail was outstanding, very similar to a Bee's Knees, which is one of my favorites. I also enjoyed the cheeseboard, and the beet salad was fresh and flavorful. The strawberries were incredibly fresh and were the highlight of the dish. My only critique is that the salad felt like it was missing a richer element. It seemed designed to be vegan, but the non-vegan in me thought a little goat cheese would have added the perfect balance. As the evening went on, the restaurant became quite busy and noticeably loud. If you're looking for a quiet, romantic atmosphere, this may not be the best choice. That said, the food, drinks, service, and overall value made for a very enjoyable dining experience, and I'd happily return.

Great restaurant and location. This is my second time coming while visiting Madison. I made it a point to come back again since my first visit was so good. This time we came for brunch which I thought was fairly priced. With so many good options, it was very hard to choose. Our server and service were fantastic. We ordered an extra entree because we couldn't decide (common practice for a fat foodie). Every item from appetizers, cocktails and entrees had high quality ingredients that were masterfully crafted. I highly recommend a visit if you are in town.

My husband and I went here for dinner, and the menu was simple (one side). We ordered the following: • Hook’s Fried Cheese Curds - first time having this and it was delicious. Crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside with a delicious dip on the side. Definitely would recommend! • Dolsot Bibimbap with Pork Bulgogi - crispy rice on the bottom of the hot stone bowl, pork bulgogi, and veggies. It was on the salty side and felt this was average (we also personally think that adding mushrooms and bean sprout would’ve completed the dish) - we would recommend choosing a different dish that’s worth the value. • Chiocciole alla Vodka - pasta with whipped ricotta, basil pesto, and added grilled chicken. The dish was flavorful - perfectly seasoned (not too bland or salty). Pasta is on the softer side in terms of texture. The addition of grilled chicken was delicious (we noticed that the texture was a bit different from what we’re used to, but that didn’t bother us; however, I don’t know if others would notice it). Service was excellent! They were welcoming, knowledgeable about the menu, and checked in on us at perfect times. The food came out at a timely pace - appetizer first, good amount of time for us to enjoy it, and then the entrees popped out. Atmosphere is more on the casual side (looks fancy though) - we didn’t dress up in anything fancy. Very clean and had plenty of seating. It’s on the pricey side - the portions are good and the quality of the food is there, but we felt that it’s a little overpriced for some of the dishes. Overall, I would recommend trying this place out!
