Reviews from Google5.0a month agoHad the lemongrass chicken banh mi and an iced classic coffee. Absolutely delicious and super fresh! Light crunchy bread and tender deliciously seasoned chicken. Very friendly and thoughtful owner. 10/10 satisfied my craving.
5.02 months agoWent there for lunch today. Both the service and the food were fantastic. The Bahn Mi was freshly baked and toasted; it was still crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Still thinking about it now.
5.02 months agoFresh, affordable banh mi with a really nice dining area and friendly staff!
3.03 months agoThis has to be the first time I’ve ever eaten at a Vietnamese restaurant that doesn’t hand-make all of their food and instead uses store-bought food. I ordered the pork and shrimp spring roll/goi cuon, banh mi (with xa xiu, crispy pork belly, and GM sausage), fatty broth pho (nuoc beo) GM black coffee, and GM egg foam coffee. The goi cuon doesn’t have mint in it, a key ingredient in my opinion, so it lacks that refreshing feeling to it. It instead has caggage, which adds a crunch, but doesn’t do much for the flavor. The peanut sauce tastes ok, but has nothing that makes it overly good or bad. The banh mi tastes nice, as the meat’s flavorful, juicy, and tender, while the bread’s the ideal level of toasted (slightly crunchy). It’s more loosely-packed than what I’m used to. The pho has meat that’s not tender or juicy at all. The meat isn’t tender or still cooking like what you normally expect, but is nearing the tough side. No meatballs. The broth’s absolutely not as fresh or clear as Vietnamese-style is, and seems to have a bit too much sodium or something in it. I didn’t even finish the broth, when I normally do. The noodles, which I suspect are store-bought (more on this in a bit), have little taste and don’t have much uniqueness to them. The condiments they supply, sriracha and hoisin sauce, have too much pepper in them. It adds more to an already heavy broth, if you decide to put it in. The coffee tastes nice, especially the egg foam. The black coffee’s straight-up black coffee, with no sugar, probably not the blend I’d like. Now, I don’t make the claim a restaurant uses store-bought food lightly. There are two reasons why I think this. First, when I walked in and ordered, I noticed a package of the Three Sisters brand of rice paper. I should’ve taken a picture, but thought doing so seemed rude. Actually, you can barely make it out it if you zoom in/look closely at one of my pictures. Second, the pho noodles reminded me of the Simple brand of noodles I often bu
5.07 months agoThe crispy pork belly bahn mi was really good. Bread perfectly crunchy, pork belly was crunchy on the outside tender inside, the veggies were refreshing and sauce had good flavor. 10/10
