I’ve been coming here for over a decade. I live in the neighborhood and we usually walk here, or order ahead and pick up after work. The service is fast and accurate. They offer classic dishes and american fusion. We always order rolls and two dishes to share. The orders are always right and the portions are big enough to share or have leftovers. I recommend trying the steamed veggies and their sweet dishes.

Wow. China Wok. Madison’s lowkey, affordable, convenient Chinese takeout spot. Absolutely no frills, incredible food, amazing prices, fast service. Massive portions, and when you take the leftovers home, I swear they taste EVEN BETTER reheated. The best to ever do it.

I have ordered take out/delivery from China Wok on Fordem for years. Overall the food is good for takeout standards in Madison and delivery great. However, last order we changed up and got the Pu-Pu plater. Aside from the teriyaki chicken, which I get often, the rest was just poor deep fried less than edible, even if you like deep fried food. And while I will order from China Wok again, I will never get this dish.

The takeout experience exceeded my expectations! The food was carefully packaged with no spills and kept warm well. It tasted amazing, just as described, with generous portions and fresh ingredients. Delivery was fast and service was great. I’m totally satisfied. The price is reasonable, and I enjoyed the meal very much. I’ve saved the shop and will order often. Highly recommend!

SO fresh & tasty! I only had 20 minutes before my meeting and food was ready in less than 10 min. Lovely outdoor seating as well.
