I like this place. The food and drinks are good, and the staff have always been welcoming and fun to talk to. Sometimes it takes a while to get an order but I understand that’s part of a busy downtown cafe. That said, something feels different lately. During a visit a couple months ago I witnessed what appeared to be a supervisor having a pretty heated interaction with another customer, and it changed the atmosphere in the room. I've also noticed that some of the familiar faces who used to work here don't seem to be around anymore. I can only speak to what I’ve witnessed but the place doesn't have the same warm feel it used to. I still think the current staff are doing a great job and I hope things turn around.

2 stars. The coffee itself was good, and the atmosphere was pretty cool. Prices were cheap too, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the service really brought the experience down. There was no greeting, no smiles, and overall it felt very unwelcoming. I asked for room for cream in my coffee, but it was filled all the way up. Mistakes happen, but when I asked for it to be remade because I wanted the stronger coffee taste instead of some being dumped out, the employee seemed annoyed and handed it back without eye contact or any apology. The food was also pretty subpar, though the low prices somewhat reflected that. Overall, not a terrible place, but definitely not somewhere I was super impressed with.

Gotta check this jazzy warm hole out in the winter, a nice escape from the downtown bustle. Good coffee and eats! I’d just have a slightly better oat creamer brand like Oatly or Rise, that blends best. But their Pacific brand is still good enough! Good balance in moisture and texture and flavor for the sandwich.

I loved the atmosphere of this place. The vibe is bike cafe jazz wine. You know it’s good when the old men in town are sitting outside the coffee shop with their dogs.The coffee was good, good food too. I really loved the granola!

I stopped in about 1pm on a slow Sunday and got the berry berry smoothie. Which was fantastic, the only downside was that the original cup had a hole in it! Oops, sometimes that happens the staff were apologetic and got me a new smoothie which I greatly appreciated. I will mention that after what I am assuming was the Sunday morning the rush the cafe felt a little disheveled with chairs sort of scattered about and some trash on the ground. Overall I really like this location.
