We hired Banzo to cater our rehearsal dinner. We could not have been happier! They made things simple from the beginning. They provided guidance to plan for the meal and made it easy to update as things got closer to the date even when our plans changed a bit. The food was DELICIOUS – everyone in our group loved it. They handled all the details- we didn’t need to worry about anything. We highly recommend!!!

We found this restaurant on accident and decided to try it. I’m so glad we did! This may be the best falafel I’ve ever had! We also had the hummus and pita bread, chicken shawarma rice bowl, beet salad, and salad with the yummiest dressing. Eating outside on the patio was a huge bonus! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

I’ll try my best to not offend anyone with what I’m about to say about this restaurant visit. I ordered the pita and lamb plus a side of falafel. The lamb’s tender and juicy. The pita tastes nice and has the right texture. The falafel has a nice crunch to it, and the filling has a slight taste of the flavoring one expects from falafel. This is all I can say, as nothing I ordered has any particular flavor, as everything’s rather bland. I feel I paid overly much for how little I got, and feel I could’ve gotten the same order at different restaurants in the area for slightly cheaper and with slightly more flavor. The service is quick and friendly, so no complaints with service. This restaurant’s definitely more of a fusion restaurant, when considering the taste of the food and the modern English-language music they were playing. This restaurant’s also probably more suitable for those who aren’t necessarily looking for the most bang/value for their buck and instead want a cool place to hang out at. The vibe’s definitely chill.

The best falafel, don’t get it from anywhere else. Banzo is a gem of a food stop if you’re in Madison. You can sometimes find their food truck around the city too! Their menu includes a solid selection of Mediterranean sandwiches and rice bowls. Good options for those who are vegetarian or have gluten allergies. As a celiac, the staff was knowledgeable about cross contamination and let me know what I could eat safely, so I felt good about eating the food. It was 100/10 as always!

Had the chick rice bowl. Was okay. Needed something fresh like cucumbers, veggies or more dill sauce. Fries were good and crisp. The hot sauce was actually hot.
