This arcade is fantastic and has so many classic games that'll bring you back to your childhood. There's something for everyone here from Donkey Kong to Q*bert, arcade boxes to pinball. Tokens and drinks are cheap so you won't be spending a fortune to play and have fun.

My favorite bar and I'm just realizing I never left a review. This place has been a home away from home since it opened. Customers, owner, and bartenders are always very friendly and welcoming. The arcade cabinets are usually in working order and if not, they are marked. It's really cool to see actual old school cabinets too and not just something running off emulation. I moved away from Madison but I still love to pop in and say hi. I've always felt welcomed and as someone who suffers from social anxiety I've never really felt uncomfortable here. Brad, Grant, & Miranda will always going to be my favorite bartenders. Thanks guys!

the bar is so well curated and the intention and thought put into the space and it’s vintage games feel is soooo good. Was SHOCKED at how big this place is, I always thought when I drove by that it would be just one lil room. They have every game u could dream of, lots of fun vintage ones I’d never heard of which I was happy to see as I am not a pinball fanatic and prefer to dink around on games I’ve never seen before (like track and field, which I loved!!!!!!!) loved the spring roll fresh crunchy fun, u can never get fun food like that at places like this!!! loved the skee ball, loved the ddr (it’s harder than i remembered it being as a teen lol), loved track and field, loved big Bertha (goofy game from so long ago love thinning of kids lining up back in the day to play it) will return extremely soon — also seems they have a cool cinema night thing ??? wasn’t sure specifically what it was but ppl were gathering

This is, without a doubt, one of the best arcades in the Madison area! Bring cash for the tokens. Most old video games are one token (25¢), while the newer ones and the pinball machines cost more but are still very reasonable. I spent a few days in Madison mainly to check out the arcade scene, and Aftershock was the one that I wanted to return to one last time before heading home. There are a lot of rare games here, and the pinball selection is great. They are very helpful if there is a problem with a game. I can't comment on the drinks because I'm not really into that, but the bartenders were so nice anyway and loved the games as much as I did. They don't have many food offerings, but they do have pizza and snacks, as well as a soda vending machine if you'd rather have that.

This place is truly a hidden gem. A very unassuming front entrance leads to a large room with an amazing selection of great games. No filler arcades wasting space here, just cabinet after cabinet of some very fun classics. The attached parking lot has ample space. Time spent here is well spent.
